SGS announces Cochrane Lab is now in operation

SGS is pleased to announce that the new, fully equipped, commercial geochemistry laboratory in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada is now open and receiving samples.
The Cochrane laboratory has been strategically located to service the growing needs of the minerals exploration industry in Northeastern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec, Canada. The official opening of the new facility will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012.
The Cochrane laboratory offers the following geochemical procedures:
- Sample preparation for soils, drillcore and reverse circulation samples
- Fire assay for gold with ICP-OES, AAS and gravimetric finish
- Carbon and sulphur analysis by LECO and Coulometry
- Trace metal analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES)
