Queensland Dust Solution Company Leads The Way In Cutting Edge Technology

AUSTRALIAN mining solutions company Reynolds Soil Technologies (RST) is leading the way in new designs and cutting-edge solutions, following the launch of its latest product for the international mining industry.

  • The award-winning company, based in Queensland, recently launched Avenger – an innovative haul road dust suppressant technology specifically designed for remote sites throughout Australia andoverseas.
  • Custom-designed to assist the challenges and safety issues faced by some mine sites, the newly launched Avenger solution was developed as an additive for water carts, to greatly suppress fugitive dust and prevent road surface damage.

  • RST’s operations and technical director David Handel said the environmentally-friendly high performance haul road dust suppressant was developed for sites that could not implement RST’s fully servicedHaul Road Management System (HRMS).
  • Mr Handel said Avenger had been successfully trialled as a development program for RST and as a result, it is now being used by some of the largest mining companies across Australia.
  • Being an ultra concentrated formula which is dosed into the water cart using RST’s automatic pumping system – Avenger also uses 90 per cent less product than traditional dust suppressants currently on the market.
  • RST’s Teksmart division developed this sophisticated smart pumping system which includes back to base telemetry for managing the dosage rates, making the Avenger system easier to monitor and manage on site.
