NTT Announces New Fluid Power Connector and Conductor Certification Review Training

Centennial, CO – NTT Training is pleased to announce it is now offering Fluid Power Society Connector & Conductor Certification Review Training. The first course will be offered at NTT’s Centennial, Colorado training facility on March 25 -26, with the Fluid Power Connector & Conductor exam being administered on March 27. Material to be covered includes:

Understanding basic components of hose construction, hose types, and pressure ratings
Identifying port and fitting threads using measuring tools and charts
Identifying the various two- and four-bolt flanges
Using appropriate charts to determine ratings for stainless and carbon steel tubing for application
Using the “Stamped” acronym to determine the correct hose and/or tube for correct assembly procedure
Understanding metric and English values to ensure correct assembly of components
Square-cut hose to measured length
Knowing when and how to skive hose
Performing crimp machine inspection and calibration to ensure proper final hose assembly
Using caliper to measure crimp dimensions
Flare tubing to make assembly
Inspecting flareless tube assembly and twin ferrule tube assembly
Using silver brazing to assemble fittings to tube
Using hydraulic test stand for proof, burst, and impulse testing
Identifying and use proper standards to ensure conformance and appropriate quality and safety
Providing safety covers for line of sight and abrasive locations
Providing documentation
Properly disposing of used assemblies
