Prague, 10 March, 2016 – At Bauma fair Mitas will introduce brand new ERD-45 18.00R33 tire for rigid dump trucks. It will be available on the market in May 2016. The pattern is designed for hard surface conditions and boasts with excellent traction. ERD-45 has a sidewall protection and it is also highly resistant to cuts. Mitas ERD-45 18.00R33 is a first size in Mitas product offer for rigid dump trucks and further extension of this range is planned for next year. Mitas invites all media representatives and visitors to join in a photo opportunity with the new ERD-45 at stand No. 127 in hall 6.
“Mitas is significantly extending its product range in the segment of Earthmover tires and ERD-45 is one of the highlights,” said Andrew Mabin, Mitas’ sales and marketing director. “During 2016 we will introduce four new tread patterns and eight new tire sizes dedicated for the Earthmover segment. These product launches are made possible thanks to the massive investment we did in our production plants in last years,” added Mabin.
ERD-45 is a new tread pattern in Mitas Earthmover tires portfolio besides existing ERD-20, ERD-30 and ERD-40. Mitas ERD tires are designed for transport vehicles including dumpers (also articulated) and scrapers. Mitas ERD-45 18.00R33 is designed particularly for rigid dump trucks and it is a first size in Mitas product offer for this segment of vehicles. In 2017 and 2018 Mitas will offer three additional sizes of ERD-45 namely 21.00R33, 21.00R35 and 24.00R35.
Beside brand new product launches at Bauma fair Mitas will also display new sizes in the current portfolio. At its stand Mitas will unveil the new tire size in ERL-40 segment which is the new 29.5R25 ERL-40 designed for loaders and graders. Mitas ERL-40 is designed for hard conditions and as the whole ERL/ERD line it is radial with a steel-enforced carcass and steel breakers. It will be available on the market in September 2016.
