BUSINESSNEWS hosted the fourteenth Annual Gala Dinner, announcing all winners of the 2016 40 Under 40 Awards last week, among them MICROMINE’s General Manager, Claire Tuder.

Established in 2002 by BUSINESSNEWS, the 40under40 Awards programme is designed to recognise and celebrate Western Australia’s 40 leading business entrepreneurs under the age of 40. Nominees are judged by a panel of prominent West Australian executives including, Charlie Cunningham, Business News, Fiona Lander, Perth Airport, Karen Carriero, University of Western Australia and Mark Fitzpatrick, St Vincent de Paul Society.

The programme recognises not only personal determination and commercial drive, but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance these young individuals’ professional achievements, recognising the less public contributions to the welfare of Western Australia.

“I feel very honoured and privileged to receive a 40under40 award and be recognised amongst this impressive group of people. The last 18months have been particularly challenging both professionally, as experienced by everyone in the mining industry, as well as personally.

I share the award with my colleagues at MICROMINE in recognition and thanks for their hard work and commitment, especially during the difficult times.

Congratulations to the other winners and thank you to Business News WA for the opportunity.”
