MICROMINE Russia will be sponsoring and exhibiting at the GKZ International Conference at the Expocentre in Moscow, Russia on May 30th & 31st.
The topic of this year’s conference is “The issues of expert evaluation of mineral reserves in the light of co-operation with international classifications” with mining companies from all over the globe expected to attend and discuss Russia’s mineral resource industry.
MICROMINE Regional Managers, Boris Kurtsev and Tim Tuder, will be joined by MICROMINE Founder, Graeme Tuder, at the conference.
This year’s conference will also coincide with the 90th anniversary of GKZ, Russia’s State Commission for Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. The Commission was established in 1927 in order to bring uniformity and credibility to Russia’s mineral resource industry.
MICROMINE has had a long standing relationship with the Russian State Commission for Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves and is proud to be able to have Mr. Tuder in attendance to support the significant milestone, at this year’s event.
“We are proud to be sponsoring this year’s event as it provides a great platform for companies to gain more insight into Russia’s mineral classification and resource sector. We look forward to seeing how MICROMINE can be used by mining companies to increase the efficiency of their geological operations in Russia” said Mr Kurtsev.
Key topics of the conference will include; Interaction of the Russian classification on Oil & Gas and Hard rock Mineral Resources with international classifications, Development of Competent Persons in Russia, Increasing the investment attractiveness of the subsoil of the Russian Federation, Rational use of the raw materials base of the Russian Federation, Reproduction of the mineral and raw materials base in the field of Oil & Gas and Hard rock Mineral Resources and Increasing the efficiency of geological exploration for Oil & Gas and Hard rock Mineral Resources.
