PERTH, AUSTRALIA – : Leading provider of intuitive software solutions to the mining and exploration industry, MICROMINE has reinforced its position as a preferred supplier of software solutions to existing clients in Brazil.
MICROMINE recently engaged Brazil-based Ombudsman Associates to perform research on existing Micromine users in Brazil. Micromine is the company’s flagship solution which allows for the capture, management and interpretation of critical mining and exploration data.
A significant trend had been identified, whereby licenses sold in the past three years were consistently multiplying in number.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that 100% of all Micromine clients interviewed were recommending the solution to other companies. This is a significant finding and one that highlights the satisfaction experienced by Micromine’s Brazil client base.
The research also revealed the order of Micromine technical attributes most valued by clients. 70% voted for the user-friendly interface and intuitive qualities that facilitate the operation of new users. 18% most valued the easy database integration that enables data to be imported and exported in several formats. 6% of Micromine clients highly valued the 3D visualisation, believing it to be “excellent”, making the operation and end-result of a project more easily achievable. The final 6% regarded the easy handling of the database to be its greatest attribute.
In addition, local support for Micromine’s Brazil office was given 9.6 points out of a maximum 10 points.
Commenting on this outstanding result, BNA – MICROMINE Latin America Director Beck Nader says “We are extremely pleased with these findings. Whilst this was always our perception, it is always pleasing to see these beliefs reinforced by our clients”.
Mr Nader continues “Micromine software is new to the Brazilian market, therefore many of its users are familiar with a diverse range of competitive technologies. What makes this result stand out is our overall grading of 8.7 out of 10 for the Micromine solution. This is a significant rating for us and one that demonstrates Micromine’s technical strength and competitiveness in Brazil”.
Further to these findings in Brazil, it has also been noted that MICROMINE’s mine control and management reporting solution, Pitram, is being utilised in almost 25% of Australia’s 100 richest mines.
Specifically, the solution has been used within these profitable operations to increase mine production, reduce costs, and improve safety and business intelligence capabilities.
This further supports MICROMINE’s position as a global leader in providing end-to-end solutions which enhance ease-of-use and productivity.
