Vancouver, Canada 29 March 2018 – MICROMINE, the leading provider of software solutions to the mining industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amelie St-Onge to the position of Regional Manager – Canada and will be based out of MICROMINE’s Vancouver office.
Ms. St-Onge brings with her a wealth of experience across business development, consulting, senior management, industry development and international project finance. Having spent the last 9 years with Export Development Canada, Ms. St-Onge’s most recent role as Senior Manager saw her lead the development of EDC’s relationships with Canada’s largest financial institutions and increase sales by over 30 percent. Her experience has provided her with exposure to executive leadership responsibilities, international business development and strategic business planning. Ms. St-Onge holds an MBA from Queen’s University.
Upon her appointment, Ms. St-Onge commented, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead MICROMINE’s Canadian Operation into this exciting growth phase. Ms. St-Onge, who started with the company this month, will be responsible for increasing revenue and driving market penetration across Canada for all three MICROMINE products which span the entire mining lifecycle; Micromine – the leading exploration and mine design solution, Geobank – the flexible and secure data management solution and Pitram – the fleet management and mine control solution. Ms. St-Onge will also lead a team of technical specialists dedicated to providing client support to MICROMINE’s current Canadian sites.
