22 June 2016 – Johannesburg: Exciting the youth of Limpopo with the prospect of careers in geology, rock engineering and earth sciences was once again the mission of young scientists from SRK Consulting (Africa). The four colleagues – (from left) exploration geologist Malose Ramashala, hydrogeologist Camille Kraak, engineering geologist Siyamazi Ndlovu and senior geologist (coal) Sello Nzama – took part in Kodumela Bokamoso Youth Development’s Maths and Science Career Expo for the third year running. They addressed  about 1,200 learners from schools in the Seotlong and Mphahlele districts, and presented last year’s top three achieving schools – Mphela-A-Marumo Secondary School, Kgwaratlou Secondary School and Segopotje Secondary School – with study guides in science and mathematics. The guides included coursework material, access to online tutorials, and videos to aid laboratory work.
