Larson Electronics Releases LED Knock Down light for Mining and Drilling Applications

Larson Electronics announced the addition of a LED knock down light for construction applications.  Outfitted with three 40 watt LED heads and designed to work off low voltage from existing drilling equipment, the base stand, pole and light heads are removable, giving it its namesake.

Larson Electronics added an LED knock down light to its expanding range of construction lighting equipment.  The 120 watt LED light stand disassembles into a base, upright and LED light head assembly, making it easy to setup, take down and transport.  Although the WAL-LED-3X40 can be equipped to run off of 120/277VAC voltages, the initial model is designed to be powered from 9-32 Volts DC.  The IP68 rated LED light heads combined can illuminate a large area with more than 10,000 lumens.   Each LED light bar can be positioned to extend or widen the beam pattern to meet the needs of the work area. The aluminum construction, tubular, base stand is durable, non-sparking and lightweight, further adding to the knock down light’s portability.  Each light head can be configured with a spot or flood beam pattern to create the lighting intensity required and each light head can be pivoted and tilted individually for optimal area illumination.

“The WAL-LED-3X40 LED knock down light is an effective tool for drilling and construction operations, since it leverages existing power sources,” said Rob Bresnahan with LarsonElectronics.com.  “The high powered LED light heads can withstand abuse making this ideal for operators or rental fleets.”
