JUST RELEASED: CostMine’s 2014 Mine and Mill Equipment Cost database in two formats

InfoMine’s CostMine Division just announced the release of the 2014 Mine And Mill Equipment Costs: An Estimator’s Guide  and the 2014-2015 Equipment Cost Calculator online interactive database.  Both the publication and the online interactive database include capital and operating costs for over 3,000 equipment items commonly found at mines and mills around the world.

The Guide is a valuable tool used in estimating equipment capital costs, as well as the hourly operating cost associated with that equipment.  The 2014 Guide, published in October 2014, includes enhanced hourly operating cost reporting on fuel and power consumption.  Originally reported in one category, these components are now separated into four categories, diesel fuel, gasoline, natural gas, and electric power, making it easier to calculate the consumption rates of these cost centers in your summaries. Also new in the Guide this year is pricing on remote control blast hole drilling systems and VSI crushers. Also addressed are significant operating cost parameters such as fuel prices that are significantly lower this year.

While a great companion to the Guide, the 2014/2015 Equipment Cost Calculator is also fully-functional on its own. Our Calculator provides access to the Mine and Mill database in an online-interactive format. Adjust parameters such as repair labor, fuel prices, etc., to fit the locale, choose your inventory, and then print or export your results for further analysis.

If you value your time and want quality equipment estimates that reflect current prices, our Mine and Mill Equipment Costs: an Estimator’s Guide and our Equipment Cost Calculator will work for you. Order the 2014 Mine & Mill Equipment Costs: An Estimator’s Guide for $1,195 or $1,395 w/CD-ROM or pdf; get single user access to the Equipment Cost Calculator for one year for $1,800; or order both the Guide and the Calculator at a discounted package price of $2,200.
