Indian iron ore mining mess – Belekeri illegal export much higher
Bangalore Mirror reported that the details in the Central Empowered Committee’s report on illegal mining could well be just a little ripple on the surface. Going by the findings of a CID probe, which is still in progress, it wasn’t just 3.5 million tonnes of illegal iron ore that was exported from Belekeri, but way over that figure.
