Rio Tinto’s Serbia lithium mine project faces fresh protests
The troubles highlight the challenges to building new mines in Europe.
TORONTO, Ontario (Dec 27, 2012): Globe 24-7 HR & Recruitment has announced today a strategic partnership with Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. to manage a large-scale Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) program for their Mt Milligan gold / copper project in northern British Columbia.
Thompson Creek is an emerging North American metals company who is developing the Mt Milligan project which will be one of the first new mining operations in British Columbia in the past decade.

Construction is well underway at the site which will boast one of the largest processing plants in North America with the 450 strong workforce residing in beautiful Fort St James and Mackenzie on a family friendly drive-in, drive-out arrangement. The RPO will deliver 200+ new jobs across Mt Milligan’s processing, mining, health & safety, administration, HR, environmental and technical services through 2013.
