Geobank Mobile 2018 is now available for download

The Geobank Mobile software provides an efficient, comprehensive and flexible solution for collecting, validating and transferring data from the field to the office. Reducing the risk of data loss and increasing data quality with validation at the point of data entry.

Geobank Mobile 2018’s development has been focussed on a major refactoring of the data storage and data synchronisation components. Specifically, this involves replacing on-board database used by Geobank Mobile from SQL CE to Local DB.

Benefits of upgrading to Local DB

• Users will experience faster data synchronisation and processing speeds.
• Local DB uses the same data synchronisation logic as the destination database (SQL Express or SQL Server)
• Significantly faster processing of large and complex data sets. Initial testing shows reductions in testing of calculations from 2 minutes to 1 second
• On-board Local DB database is an .MDF file to which users can create an ODBC link too which will allow users who have Micromine installed to see the results in near real time

Geobank 2018 includes a range of exciting new features aimed at increasing the overall usability of the product including a comprehensive UI refresh and a new and improved Graphic Reports feature amongst others. In addition, Geobank 2018 also addresses a number of bug fixes and issues which will aid in improving the overall performance of the product.
