Column: After three years of exports China is now short of lead
The global lead market has bifurcated since the start of June, with Shanghai prices significantly outperforming that of the LME.
China’s Dalian Commodity Exchange said on Tuesday it would allow individual foreign investors to trade iron ore futures on the bourse starting Wednesday.
The exchange had in April last year opened up its iron ore contract, which was already among China’s most liquid commodities derivatives, to foreign brokerages.
