Association for Mineral Exploration – Safety Advisory for B.C.

AME is advising extreme caution to all members working or planning to work in forest fire affected regions of BC.  For individuals wanting information, we have attached relevant websites that are regularly updated – these web sites should be frequently revisited by anyone considering activity near forest fire affected areas.

Also, please note that several affected communities cannot be accessed due to highway closures and this may affect your current Emergency Response Plans for medical assistance and supplies for remote camps.

AME is expressing our support to affected members and all residents of the communities and regions being affected by this extraordinary situation.
