Reddit user Swahliman documented what it’s like to fly to Cameroon and do field work, grit and all.
“I’m one year into a PhD studying new (greener) methods of extraction/beneficiation of cobalt rich oxide deposits,” writes Swalihman.
“I’m pretty lucky to go and some sample collection.”
He uploaded the photos onto the social news site Reddit in the group devoted to mining.
