Funds cut copper bets by $20 billion as bull trade unravels
Mounting worries about Chinese demand are helping to spark a rapid exodus from copper.
In 2013, A TEC GRECO was awarded to supply two of the largest vertical coal fired Hot Gas Generators (HGG) with a thermal capacity of 53 MW each for generating hot gas (above 900°C). It was manufactured by Brodosplit
Shipbuilding Industry in Split, Croatia. The Hot-Gas-Generator main bodies as well as the supporting steel structure, anticorrosion protection, painting, stairhouse and all required material for assembly on site were delivered in January 2014. The plant is located in Nouméa, New Caledonia and produces nickel ore.
Additionally one smaller 7 MW HGG for the drying process of coal mill was delivered and will be integrated into the Loesche vertical mill.
