COALspot.com launch CS (i) Coal Index – A new spot price index for Indonesian Thermal coal

COALspot.com has launched real-time CS (i) Coal Index on 17 September 2015. The Indices represents 3800, 4200, 5000 and 5700 kcal/kg GAR coal of Indonesian Origin.

A set of these four indices developed by COALspot.com are intended to help the industry to monitor the trend of coal prices and act as a market forecast for active coal producers, traders and end-users. The indices are also serve as a proxy for decision makers as well as become an independent coal bench mark forecast for Indonesian particular coal types.

CS (i) Coal index contains independent, real-time price assessments and indices for Indonesian coal are based on the inputs provided by CS (i) coal index panelists on real-time basis during Indonesian office hours, comprising end-users, miners and traders.

COALspot.com indices reflects thermal coal shipped from major Indonesian ports. The indexes are available only for member of COALspot.com by subscription. The subscription is free for limited period.
