Column: Electric dreams turn into a nightmare for battery metals
A sector that was once racing to build new supply has been closing mines and deferring projects as low prices bite into the cost curve.
Popular video maker carsandwater, who likes to heat up nickel and film the reaction when it is dropped into or on things, is back with a seasonal video.
This time the YouTube users melts an Easter bunny using a white hot nickel ball. The video has already been viewed 46,333 times as of April 2 at 2:30 p.m. PST.
Interestingly, it takes a long time to burn a hole through the chocolate bunny.
The first video we posted from carsandwater, dropping a heated nickel sphere into water, has an astonishing three million views on YouTube.
