VIDEO: Mining truck drifts
Minetalk uploaded a video of a mining truck that takes a serious spin on the muddy road after some rain.
Witnessing the spin, the man in the cab behind the trucks halts further operations.
“Freddy, park all the trucks. Nobody else is coming up. It’s too slippery,” says unnamed driver.

To the unaquainted it is hard to beleive something so big and heavy can skate about so easily, but as you can see they sure do.
Years ago when I was driving Cat 777’s I was just leaving the digger when the next truck arriving spun just 30 meters in front of me. He stopped with the front tyres up against a bund wall where there was about a 20m drop into deep water. Thankfully that bund wall did it’s job!
