Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian commander of the International Space Station (ISS), performed David Bowie’s iconic “Space Oddity” on Monday from – you guessed it – space.
The social media savvy Hadfield belted out the tune while floating in a most peculiar way. He’s now credited with the first ever music video from space, one which has gone completely viral and has garnered praise from all over our blue planet.
Even Bowie himself seemed fired up:
