UK-based environmental and equipment monitoring system provider Trolex is on the hunt for people in the coal mining industry to pose for a ‘Calendars Girls (and Guys!)’ calendar in aid of The National Coal Mining Museum for England.
The 2013 calendar will tastefully, but cheekily, capture images of men and women employees of the mining and equipment industry in interesting locations at the Museum site. It will also record stories from the people who star in the calendar about their experiences of working in the industry.
To get involved in Miners Rock, fill in and submit a form on www.minersrock.com including a head and shoulders and a full length clothed photo of yourself and write a few lines about your role and experience in the mining industry by 30 September 2012. The judging panel will select a wide range of people from across the industry and are not necessarily looking for model types- your story is more important.
Miners Rock is a Trolex sponsored initiative supporting The National Coal Mining Museum for England. £4 of the £5.99 sales price from each calendar sold will go to the Charity in support of preserving the heritage of the mining industry.
The National Coal Mining Museum for England aims to keep coal mining alive by collecting and preserving the industry’s rich heritage, creating enjoyable and inspiring ways to learn for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
