Triumph returns long intercepts from Freegold

Triumph Gold has released results of the final three holes completed at its Freegold Mountain property, which the company believes is host to a buried porphyry system beneath a six km soil anomaly at the Revenue-Nucleus target areas. Drill highlights include:

  • 80.5 metres of 0.66 g/t gold equivalent starting at 60 metres;
  • 124.5 metres of 0.57 g/t gold equivalent starting at 23 metres;
  • 88.3 metres of 0.57 g/t gold equivalent starting at 453 metres.

The drilling was centered around the Revenue area at the 34 km long property. One of the holes intersected three porphyry related zones, two of which were intercepted earlier this year.

Triumph also confirmed the presence of a near surface oxide and supergene zone with one of the intercepts.Visible gold was intersected in one of the holes reported.

“Having completed seven of the deepest holes ever drilled on the property, we now have additional compelling evidence of a buried porphyry in each of the three areas tested…” Tony Barresi, Triumph’s president commented in the press release.

The Freegold property is located within the Dawson Range gold belt and is currently host to three deposits with resource estimates.
