TRIO announces two new management team members. As TRIO continues to expand internationally and build on our compelling range of products, Fernando Romero-Lage and Roberto Piatti will provide vital contributions to our growth, the company says.
Romero-Lage joins TRIO as Regional Sales Director – Latin America and Global Mining Sales Manager. He will help in dual roles overseeing TRIO sales efforts in Latin America and the global mining market. A native of Spain and currently based in the United States, Romero-Lage is a professional engineer with 16 years experience in the crushing and screening industry. He has held positions including Applications Engineer, Product Manager, and Business Development Manager with Svedala and later Sandvik Mining and Construction. His most recent position was as Global Sales Manager for Mining Sales for Telsmith in Milwaukee, WI, USA. He has traveled extensively throughout the world designing and selling crushing and screening equipment, and has written a number of papers on related subjects.
Piatti joins TRIO as Regional Sales Manager. A civil engineer and fourth-generation quarryman based in Argentina, Piatti will represent TRIO as regional sales manager for portions of South America including Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Brazil.
Piatti has more than 20 years managing and operating his family’s quarries. He has also spent five years with Sandvik working in contract management and regional sales followed by another five years with Thyssen Krupp as Service Manager in Argentina in the cement and mining sectors.
