The Telegraph reported that Alessio Rastani, whose appearance on BBC went viral, is an independent trader of limited means.
“. . . Mr Rastani works and lives with his partner Anita Eader in a £200,000 semi in Bexleyheath, south London. The house, complete with a mortgage from Royal Bank of Scotland, belongs to her not him,” writes the Telegraph. The newspaper also finds that Rastani’s net trading assets are in the red.
Rastani appeared on BBC and gave a riveting account of the peril that the world markets find themselves in.
“This economic crisis is like a cancer. If you just wait and wait and think this is going to go away, just like a cancer, it is going to grow, and it is going to be too late,” said Rastani.

Wow. And he has oats for breakfast. Anything else we should know? So what? His portfolio is in the red. Old mutual’s chief of trade or something lost 400 million in one go and he was promoted. Anyone with half a brain would agree with (at least) some of the things he said and that the world’s markets are in peril is – how do you say – common sense. Get a life!
Frik-it
Apparently, News Media organizations believe that any idiot with an opinion should be put on air, as long as the opinion will grab ears(read: the sky is faling). Its no suprise that none of the media outlets have pushed news items like the fact that Toyota global output is UP 10%, or Ford is planing on hiring 7000 people in the next 2 years in the US.
Perhaps the old golden rule should apply, if you haven’t something nice to say, kindly shut up.
