They are going to do what now? The audacious plan to land Curiosity on Mars next month

NASA shared its plans for landing Curiosity on Mars next month—what the project team calls seven minutes of terror.

Mars Science Laboratory or Curiosity blasted off for the red planet on Nov. 26, 2011 and is set to land on Aug. 6, 2012. The rover will be looking for evidence of life or past life. The spacecraft is larger and carries more instruments than the past Mars rovers, Spirit and Opportunity.
