Why do I not see Northern Dynasty’s Pebble project in the line-up?

At the moment there’s only a resources estimate for Pebble, no P&P reserves which is the basis for the ranking. Using measured and indicated resources Pebble probably won’t be beat – 26m tonnes copper and 70m ounces of gold.

We completed a very preliminary study to move a 20 year old coal fired fluidized bed 100 megawatt plant from California to the EL Arco proposed site built on the Sea of Cortez. Coal delivered on Groupo Mexico’s rail line from NM costs were under $50 a ton to Guymas then barged to the plant so operational cost of power was under $40. MWH. Plant purchase, tear down, delivery, reconstruction and commissioning costs were under $100 million USD. or $100,000 per KW and Groupo’s engineers were not interested. Not enough fresh water. Power costs at Baja Mining /Korres Rosalito plant average over $300. MWH. I agree, EL Arco will not be built for another 10 years or perhaps never…
