Tetra Tech, a provider of consulting, engineering and technical mining resource and infrastructure services, has acquired Wardrop Engineering, a Canadian firm specialising in resource management, energy and infrastructure design. Wardrop has about 1,200 employees globally and had revenue of some $120 million in the 2008 fiscal year. The acquisition expands Tetra Tech’s worldwide presence, adding 13 offices in Canada and offices in the United Kingdom and India.
