Strongbow begins exploration program at Midway, South Carolina

Vancouver-based Strongbow Exploration Inc. has begun exploring in South Carolina at its Midway gold project. Current exploration work includes geophysical and geochemical surveys ahead of an initial drill program slated to begin in March. Strongbow has options on 25 properties totalling 2,800 acres, and has obtained permission to run geochemical surveys on about 25,000 acres of private property, the company stated Wednesday in a news release.
The Midway project is adjacent to the past-producing Brewer gold mine and Romarco’s Haile gold mine and Buzzard properties.
