Stock picking is back, junior resources have been ‘decimated’: Sprott strategist

Investors have become fatigued with marco news and are now back to looking at a company’s fundamentals, said Peter Imhof, investment strategist at Sprott Asset Management, speaking to Business News Network on Monday.

“Previously I have found that everything has moved in the same direction but now I think it is becoming a bit more of a stock pickers market,” said Imhof.

Imhof says the junior resource sector stocks have been “decimated” but there have been break outs.

“When the market gets tough you want to go back to the balance sheet and fundamentals.”
