Quor Group, a developer of Commodity Trade Risk Management software (CTRM), announced Wednesday the appointment of Steve Hughes as its new chief executive officer.
With an impressive track record in the commodity and financial services industries, Hughes brings a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to Quor as it enters a new phase of growth, expansion, and innovation, the company said in a news release.
Hughes will oversee Quor’s operations and spearhead its mission to provide exceptional CTRM software solutions to clients worldwide. His extensive experience in building and scaling software companies, combined with a deep understanding of the evolving financial and commodities landscapes, will strengthen Quor’s position as a leading CTRM provider, it said.
Hughes joins Quor after a successful tenure as the CEO of Beam Securities, CEO of Aspect Enterprise Solutions (which he helped sell to ION), and subsequently chief commercial officer of ION Commodities.
“I am thrilled to work with the talented team at Quor to further strengthen our position in the CTRM space,” Hughes said in the statement. “Together, we will strive to deliver unparalleled service and value to our clients, helping them navigate the ever-changing global markets.”
