Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
There is new energy to harness the job-creating ability of the mineral sector, after the National Planning Commission admitted that South Africa had missed the boat during the recent commodity boom.
