Saudi Arabia gets its poorest marks in environmental sustainability and economic growth and development. The oil-rich kingdom’s environmental sustainability score of 0.19/1 is one of the lowest among all countries. In terms of energy security, Saudi Arabia ranks quite well.
Lebanon relies on imports for about 90% of its energy demand and its citizens regularly experience power outages.
Yemen’s oil production is in a state of decline and its energy infrastructure is often attacked by militants. It’s also not a major energy producer and ranks very low in environmental sustainability.
