Turkey top envoy goes to Niger in bid to secure uranium supplies
The trip comes after Niger’s military government withdrew mining rights from Canadian and French companies to develop uranium deposits.
SGS announced plans to open a new multi-purpose laboratory equipped for geochemical and metallurgical testing in Monrovia, Liberia. This new laboratory will be strategically located to service the growing needs of the minerals exploration industry in West Africa. Start date for the new facility will be July 2011.
