The Senate Health Education Labor and Pension Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety recently held a hearing to discuss efforts to implement the MINER Act, which was signed into law two years ago following a series of tragedies in coal mines.
Attendance at the hearing was limited to Subcommittee Chairwoman Patty Murray (D-WA), Ranking Member Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO).
