Solaris exits Canada for Switzerland with new CEO, board and spin-out plans
The company changed its board of directors and plans to spin out non-core assets La Verde, Capricho, and Paco Orco into a new company.
Scanalyse provides laser scanning condition monitoring services for grinding mills and crushers. Its technology was originally developed at Curtin University and the company started operating commercially in 2007. With substantial penetration into the Australian market already achieved Scanalyse is branching out internationally. Offices have been established in Santiago, Chile, servicing the South American market and in Salt Lake City, Utah to service North America. The latest countries to show interest in the Scanalyse technology are Ghana and Mongolia. Scanalyse has signed a contract with the Rio Tinto operated Oyu Tologoi mine in Mongolia (IM, April and May 2011) to provide services for its comminution circuits. (more…)
