Sandvik expands offering with world’s biggest cone crushers – installed power up to 1400 hp

Sandvik Mining and Construction announces the introduction of two new cone crusher models in the CH series of cone crushers. These new crushers are equipped with 1100 hp and 1400 hp motors respectively, which make them the biggest and most powerful cone crushers in the world. The new CH cone crushers use the well known Sandvik hydroset concept for on line setting adjustments, wear compensation and tramp release.

This new offering is a further development in the already successful collaboration between Sandvik and EARTHTECHNICA CO., LTD (100% owned company by KAWASAKI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD). This collaboration is an extension of the already well established joint efforts for the CG range of primary gyratory crushers successfully launched by Sandvik last year. The two new cone crushers in the Sandvik range are the excellent result when combining the very best experience from the two companies.

Through these developments, Sandvik is now able to offer two more heavy duty mining crushers specifically designed for the highly demanding duties seen within the mining industry.

Driven by a market need for larger and fewer machines, these new large cone crushers will perfectly fit the Sandvik crusher portfolio and offering strategies.
