Midrand’s drilling solutions technology provider Rosond announced Thursday the opening for applications of its 2024 Bursary Program in commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the next generation of professionals across diverse fields.
The bursaries are designed to empower and uplift first to third-year students, aged 18 to 30, who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their studies with a GPA of 60% or higher in study fields including IT, mining, finance, geology, engineering, environmental management, supply chain, data sciences, human resources, occupational health and safety, and trades.
Over the past four years, Rosond has successfully allocated over R14.5 million ($780,000) towards supporting talented students.
“We firmly believe in the transformative power of education, recognizing it as a catalyst for personal growth, community development, and national progress,” Freddah Motloung, employee relations officer at Rosond said in the statement.

Beneficiaries must be from specific targeted communities in the Northern Cape, North West, Limpopo and Gauteng.
