Environmental assessment begins for Ajax copper-gold mine

The environmental review has begun for the proposed Ajax copper-gold mine 10 km southwest of Kamloops, BC, Canada. The project is being developed by a joint venture of Vancouver-based Abacus Mining & Exploration and KGHM Polska Miedz SA of Poland. Canadian Mining Journal reports.
