More than 200 of the world's leading climate scientists have begun working on a key report summarizing how Earth's climate has already changed and what to expect in coming years.

The top-five western diversified miners may have earned a combined $85 billion for the first half of the year, according to analyst estimates, more than double the level from a year ago.

London-based broker ETX Capital ran the numbers and found that the US would make over $1.14 million.

The project would allow operations at the massive Yanacocha gold mine in northern Peru’s Cajamarca region to continue beyond 2040.
