BloombergNEF data show that lithium-ion battery pack prices fell 6% from 2020 to 2021 but rising commodity prices are putting pressure on the industry.

Growth in the sector is set to hit an all-time record this year, but that's not enough to reach net zero emissions by 2050, says the agency.
