UN at COP26: “Enough of mining…we are digging our own graves”
It did not take long for COP26 to turn into a farce with UN Secretary General António Guterres pleading with the gathered highnesses and excellencies to declare enough is enough.
The Germany-based fertilizer producer now forecasts earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) between 570 and 630 million euros, compared with previous forecast of 660 to 740 million euros.
The company said the expansion, to start in early 2019, would add an average 60,000 tonnes of copper a year to its production over the first 15 years of operation.
In the past two years, Cat has been working on growing its offering, particularly in the underground segment, as well as filling up some gaps in terms of trucks sizes.
