The world’s addiction to coal, a fuel many thought would soon be on the way out, is now stronger than ever.

The new resource encompasses three open-pits in the Kaukua area, including an initial resource for Kaukua South and Murtolampi, and one at Haukiaho.

The miner, operating in Russia, said it’s avoiding selling to the country’s banks as they will only buy at a discount.
