Taseko Mines (TSX:TKO) is not giving up on its plan to build a large copper-gold mine in north-central British Columbia, despite two earlier rejections by the Government of Canada.
Discovered in 1976, the property area was the subject of intense exploration during the 1970s and 1980's, when Acquitaine Company of Canada and Esso Resources Canada completed 190 drill holes totaling approximately 22,000 m on the project area.
Judge revoked an interim order that prevented the company from relocating graves present at its Platreef platinum group metals mine, in Limpopo Province.
