Kameron Coal’s Donkin mine has received four orders and six warnings from provincial authorities since limited production restarted on Jan. 25, following a roof cave-in last year.
The historical core confirms mineralization from 50 to 425 metres below surface. The company is planning surface work to develop additional drill targets.
Decision doesn't determine the final faith of the long-delayed and polemic project, as the case has been sent back to the Environmental Court for review by a different panel of judges, a process that could last several months.
