Preliminary testing carried out by the University of British Columbia shows the Turnagain nickel project has potential for significant mineral sequestration of CO2.
A study by Skarn Associates shows that the Crawford nickel-cobalt sulphide project in Ontario is set to produce 2.05 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of nickel-equivalent production over its 25-year mine life.
