Quebec Cartier, Canmet project to reduce electricity use in furnaces

QUEBEC – QUEBEC CARTIER MINING of Port-Cartier, Que, has signed a deal with the CANMET ENERGY TECHNOLOGY CENTRE whereby the two will seek ways to substantially reduce energy consumption in the induration furnaces at Quebec Cartier’s pellet plant.
