QMX reports long intercepts from Bonnefond

QMX Gold has released the results of drilling completed on the Bonnefond deposit located within its 200 sq. km of land holdings in Val d’Or.

Drill intercepts of note include:

  • 114.6 metres of 3.69 g/t gold starting at 56.1 metres down hole;
  • 29.4 metres of 1.07 g/t gold starting at 62.8 metres;
  • 9 metres of 4.28 g/t gold starting at 104.6 metres.

The drilling was focused on upgrading existing resources within an intrusive unit and drilling beyond it into higher grade shear zones.

A maiden pit constrained resource for Bonnefond was released in July. Indicated resources contained within an intrusive unit total 4.8 million tonnes at 1.69 g/t gold for 258,700 oz. with additional inferred resources of 2.4 million tonnes at 1.87 g/t gold for 145,100 oz. The inferred resources are contained within both an intrusive unit and within shear zones.

Additional assays from both the Bonnefond deposit and the River target are pending.

QMX also holds the permitted Aurbel mill, a 1,200 t/d facility which has been refurbished to 650 t/d.
