Portugal’s mining strategy may favour copper over lithium
Portugal already has the largest copper mine in the European Union, operated by Lundin Mining.
At the forthcoming Expomin 2012 show from April 9-13 in Santiago, Chile, Putzmeister’s Underground Division is set to present its latest series of SPM 4210 WETKRET shotcrete equipment along with a new low-profile concrete mixer as a “complete system” for shotcreting in mining. With the SPM 4210 WETKRET series, Putzmeister claims to have reached a new stage in the development of shotcrete equipment for mining. The reinforced spraying arm, designed and manufactured by Putzmeister, provides a vertical spraying reach of 10 m; while the maximum concrete output of the double-piston pump mounted on the equipment is 20m3/h.
